Ask in your own words; Musy picks the tool and shows the price first.

Steps

  1. 1

    Open Musy

Press Ctrl+J (⌘J on a Mac), the Musy button in the toolbar, or her face at the bottom right of the page.

  2. 2

    Ask, or pick a task

Type what you need, for example “three ways this chapter could end”. Musy chooses Ideas, Polish, Tidy, Continuity or Structure. You can also pick a task yourself.

  3. 3

    Check what is sent

Before anything leaves the device you see the text that will be sent, the answer language and the price in credits. Send is your approval.

  4. 4

    Use the answer

Ideas come as a numbered list to copy. Polish and Tidy show the changes word by word; Apply writes them into the scene and one undo takes them back.

Musy reads only what you approve for each request: the selection, the scene or the book, depending on the task. Names from your Codex and your house style go with the request so they are written your way.

Credits are shown beside Musy’s name. The plus next to them buys more. An answer that fails gives its credits back.
