How god names are usually built
Divine names work best when their sound matches their domain. Gods of light and healing open on bright vowels, as in Aurion. Gods of death and endings favour low, slow syllables such as Thanuel. Nature gods use soft consonants and wide vowels, while war gods use stops and hard clusters. A name is rarely used alone: believers add a title that says what the god does for them, so the pair of name and epithet becomes a small prayer.
Titles also let one god have several faces. A harvest god can be Keeper of Seasons to farmers and the Green Tide to soldiers who march through the fields.
Building a believable pantheon
Give each culture its own sound for its gods, and show how one god became two when peoples met: the same figure under two names. Decide which gods are friends, which are rivals and which are feared enough that people avoid saying the name. Let the epithets differ by region, so a priest in the mountains calls the god of rain something other than a farmer on the plains does. Keep a table with each god's domain, symbol, holy day and the way their name is written, and check that no two gods share the first letter if you want readers to track them easily.

Questions about god names
How do I name a god so it sounds divine?
Match the sound to the domain and add a title that says what the god does for believers. The pair of name and epithet reads like a prayer.
How many gods does a world need?
Start with four or five whose domains are easy to remember, and add minor gods only when a scene needs a local shrine. A small pantheon with strong names beats a long list.
Are these god names free to use?
Yes. They are generated from sound tables and are free to use. Search a final choice before you publish, because a short name might match a real deity or an existing fiction.
