- 01
You write
Your chapters stay in your words. There is no button that drafts a scene.
- 02
You ask for a check
Pick a scene, a chapter or the whole book, and see its price in credits before it runs.
- 03
It points, you decide
Suggestions arrive as notes you accept, reject or ignore, one by one.
Why we built it this way
Writers don't need a machine to write their book. They need what a good editor gives: a second reading, a memory for every detail, and honest notes. Generated prose sounds like everyone else's, and it takes away the part of writing that is yours. So in Musael the AI reads your book and never writes it.
What it helps with
Mistakes you stopped seeing
After the tenth reading nobody sees their own typos. A style pass marks grammar, repeated words, rhythm and clumsy dialogue, line by line, with the reason for each suggestion. You accept or reject every one.
A story that holds together
Long books drift: an eye colour changes, a character knows something before they learn it, a Tuesday becomes a Thursday. The continuity check reads your chapters against your World and points to the lines that disagree.
Scenes that work
A scene review gives notes on pacing, clarity and what each character wants, the way a critique partner would, without rewriting a line.
Answers while you write
Ask what a word meant in 1850, how a sailing ship tacks, or how long a letter took from Paris to Vienna, and get an answer with its sources.
The shape of the whole book
A manuscript analysis maps plot threads, pacing and structure across every chapter, so you see where the middle sags before your readers do.
What it never does
- It never writes chapters, scenes or paragraphs for you.
- It never runs on its own: only when you start a task.
- It never sees more of your project than the task needs.
- It never trains on your writing, and the model providers we use keep no copy of it.
Much of Musael needs no AI at all
Continuity rules, the style report, synonyms, the craft library and read-aloud with your device's voice work on every plan, Quill included, and nothing leaves your project. If you never want AI, Quill never sends a word to a model.
Try it
Ink comes with a 7-day free trial of the whole workspace, no card needed. AI credits start with your plan: Ink 1× covers about 80 scene reviews a month. See the plans or read the AI Policy.
