Writing offline and syncing

Musael keeps working without a connection and catches up when it can.

Steps

    Saved on this device

    Every change is stored in this browser as you type. The status at the top says Saved on this device.

  2. 02

    Synced to your account

    When you are online, changes go to your account and reach your other devices and your co-authors.

  3. 03

    Keep a copy

    Export the whole project as a .storyproject file from the project menu whenever you want an independent copy.

If two devices change the same text

Live editing merges the changes as they happen. If a device was offline for a long time, its changes are merged when it reconnects.
