Organize acts, chapters and scenes

Build the structure of the book in Plan; the manuscript follows it.

Steps

  1. 01

    Open Plan

    Choose Plan in the section bar.

    Add the structure

    Use New act, New chapter and New scene. A scene belongs to a chapter, a chapter to an act.

  3. 03

    Move things around

    Drag scenes on the Board, or switch to List to read the plan from top to bottom. The manuscript order changes with it.

  4. 04

    Filter

    Show one act, one status or one point of view when you revise.

Each scene also carries a status, a point of view and a summary, which the Board and the filters use.
