# Send chapters to a beta reader

A private copy of the chapters you choose, for someone without an account.

## Steps

1. **Open the share dialog** In the project menu choose Share project…, then Reading links.
2. **Choose what they read** Pick the chapters, add a note, and choose how long the link stays open: 1, 7, 30 or 90 days.
3. **Send the link** Copy it and send it the way you like. The reader needs no account.
4. **See how far they read** The list shows when the link was opened and the furthest chapter reached. Renew it or close it at any time.

A reading link is a copy: it shows the text as it was when you sent it, until you send the current text again.
