# Focus mode and page width

Make the page yours: a narrow column, a wide one, or nothing but the text.

## Steps

1. **Choose the page width** In the scene details on the right, under Writing, pick Centered, Wide or Full width.
2. **Adjust the column** With Centered, set the text size and the column width with the two sliders.
3. **Write in Focus mode** Choose Focus mode from the project menu to hide everything but the page. Choose Exit focus, or press Esc, to come back.

These choices are kept on this device, so a phone and a laptop can each have their own.
